Use mc_com.exe to find new shows

Is there a way to make mc_com.exe -e, check root for new TV shows before actually scraping for new episodes?

Sorry, but for reliability of finding and scraping of a Series, and ensuring the right series is scraped, this is only available in Media Companion.exe.

mc_com.exe does not have the series code within it.

It has been discussed before, but it was decided not to have this function in mc_com.exe, to ensure the correct show is scraped first by the user, so the correct episodes are scraped.

Imagine you add a new series like Doctor Who (which has at least three variations on TVDB), and have episodes ready to scrape.
Now, mc_com.exe was to scrape the series, but got the original series instead of the 2005 series, then then proceeded to scrape the epsiodes against the original series.

So XBMC/Kodi now scrapes in the new series and episodes with artwork etc, and the user finds its all wrong.
Only options to fix this is to run Media Companion, and select the correct series. Delete all episode nfo's and artwork, and rescrape the episodes. Then the user needs to delete the episodes and series info in XBMC/Kodi, and scrape the correct series, again.

Best not to introduce that hassle to the user.

Sorry for long winded explanation, but I'll ensure that this discussion stay available for the future .
