Release Notes

There has been a lot of work going on behind the scenes at Media Companion and Co! We finally have something we believe we can give to the public, and although not perfect, we hope it will address a lot of the problems users are having.

The big change is Frodo artwork support for TV Shows, thanks to fma965 - a user who took it upon himself to implement it and provide his changes to the MC team.

Another big change is facility to use TMDb as a scrape source for Frodo artwork, thanks to AnotherPhil for his huge effort over the last month!

There have been nearly 75 commits over the last two weeks, so too many changes to list here individually, so head over to the Source Code History to see what has been going on!

Known Issues
*Find missing artwork does not yet work
*Expanding the window causes the banner to overlay the TV plot

Rest-assured, we'll get those fixed right up come next release!

Once again, I would like to thank AnotherPhil, fma965, HueyHQ, and vbat99 for their work in concert to get this release to a beta state!

As always, feedback welcome!

Great work guys, looking good so far, thx. Downloading missing episodes is super snappy! Please remember to check out the roadmap link before using the issue tracker.

Gui is way better then any/all previous releases. Looks CLEAN. As another reviewer stated: some scraping issues. For me movies fail to scrape RATING and GENRE. Hopefully this gets fixed in the next release as I use those two filters the most (after a-z title) on XBMC.

Good work! Movie scaper is not working (see issues), but this still is a great release. Thanks a lot!

Outstanding!! This is the only version that has worked for me since v3.1.5.3. I have a large collection and have become accustomed to waiting for long periods of time when scanning for new content. This version scans 10x faster!

Being a very biased critic, I rarely give good reviews about products. This has got to be the best overall product of it's type. I had some issues with a previous release, but the new update has fixed most of those. The user interface has notes and instructions placed everywhere to ensure that the user can use all the options. Add check boxes for selection and it would be 5 stars.

The movie scraped correctly and very quickly which was nice. It also lists my movies in the order I received them which it wouldn't hold before. I still have a problem with the export not going in the order it is currently sorted in. So I can't export by newest first which I like to do. I cannot see any information on the TV shows though. Only pictures. I will mess with that more.
