XBMC Link & OpenELEC Rapberry Pi

Oct 13, 2014 at 5:39 AM
Hi,
Just a bit of feedback (I know this is only tested on PC)
Thought I would try this out on my Raspberry Pi running OpenELEC and can get everything to validate except Port, User and Password.
Can connect with these credentials through a normal browser OK, so there is something else going on.
Is there a log I can look at to see what is going on.
Have enabled Debug logging but the to log files generated are empty: XBMC-Controller-brief-log-file & XBMC-Controller-full-log-file.

Cheers

I'm not up with the play on XBMC Link, but there are two log files to do with XBMC Link
XBMC-Controller-brief-log-file.txt
XBMC-Controller-full-log-file.txt

Hope fully they can tell you what's going on.

Apart form that, there is this discussion.

And this one with regards to OpenElec XBMC Link Openelec

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.

I have looked in those log files (mentioned in my first post) but they are empty even after DEBUG have been turned on and a Validate done.

Had already looked at the 2nd Post and it was no help in this case (Thanks Anyway)

Everything validates OK except Port,User & Password.

its really not an issue , I was just curious whether it would work.

Cheers

Wonder if Openelec has a firewall? I know there is one with Rasbmc. Just a thought.

Seems like Openelec doesn't use a firewall.

I'll keep digging....
