Ensure the NFO ID fix is applied when transitioning from versions prior to 3.416b. (Details here)

A lot has been changed & fixed in this release. I have tested most operations. Please report any issues with a reference to 3.427b.
NEW FEATURES
General
Added current profile to main form title text - 'default' profile is not displayed.
Made some tweaks in HTML output to allow XML file.
Movie <none>
TV
Added 'Season' to season view + 'Show & Ep#' to episode view
Added option to rewrite all Tv Shows from batch wizard - This will read in the nfo & write them back, thus cleaning them.
  • Anything MC doesn't understand, should be stripped out.
Added question to continue if you try & search for episodes from the context menu & the show is locked or unverified.
Added 'Play Episode' to context menu
Added number padding to episode numbers in treeview. 0-9,10-99,100-999
New detail textbox shows episode file details frame size/codec/etc (if available else create using the batch wizard.)
BUG FIXES
General
Fixed some issues with loading profiles with empty media folders
Fixed debug display of file system files to show relevant file relating to current profile.
Movie
Finalise fix to "-fanart.jpg" - also fixed in mc_com.exe
TV
Fixed a bug where not all tv files would be renamed
MC no longer uses 'nfofilepath' in nfo. Saving (creating) nfo's will not have the attribute.
Cleaned entire code that was using VideoFilePath (which contained the nfo instead of the actual video file) instead of NfoFilePath
Fixed episode rescrape to save filedetails
Disabled 'media info' choice from tv batch if get tags is disabled.
Locked status is now saved immediately to nfo file.

As you can see a heap of features & fixes this week!
Cheers

Reviews for this release

crashes a lot. Always uses unstacked fanart and poster filenames, regardless of the preferences setting.

When no internet connection is present, MC fails to launch with the following error "System.Net.WebException: The remote name could not be resolved: 'ia.media-imdb.com' at System.Net.WebClient.OpenRead(Uri address) at System.Net.WebClient.OpenRead(String address) at System.Windows.Forms.PictureBox.Load() at Media_Companion.Form1.actorcb_SelectedIndexChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e)"

I get this crash while running mc_com -e **************************************************** Loading Config Unhandled Exception: System.IndexOutOfRangeException: The index being passed in is out of range. at System.Xml.XmlAttributeCollection.get_ItemOf(Int32 i) at ConsoleApplication1.Module1.loadtvcache() at ConsoleApplication1.Module1.Main() Other than that, all good!

Dee76 & BobbyDgtl, I had the same issue with the scraper error. I downloaded the .NET 4.0 installer in the link above and re-installed it and it seemed to fix the problem.

I have the same issue as BobbyDgtl. I also had the scraper error with build 3.426b. The IMDB ID is being correctly found, and the Rating, Runtime and Votes are being scraped properly. All other fields are filled with "scraper error".

TV Shows work great. But for every movie I scrape I get in every field: 'scraper error' It seems like I'm the only one, so an idea how to fix it?
